The speaker was Marjorie D. Conder who is a former curator at the museum of Church History. Her talk was largely about the topic of what the Prophet Joseph did to bless the daughters of God and that the Relief Society was formed to prepared them to receive every blessing of God available in this life. It was to prepare them for the temple.
We were treated to a delicious buffet headed up by committee chair, Andrea Augenstein. The sisters truly enjoyed eating and visiting with one another. Our wonderful choir performed, led by Marge Maybe. And the decor was provided by Joan Schofield who brought antiques from her shop for us to enjoy.
